Will Israel attack Iran’s nuclear facilities?

Some seem to think so.

I have long thought that Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities was a distinct possibility.  But it hasn’t happened yet, so I wonder if it ever will.

Israel, of course, did something similar years ago.  In 1981, Israel attacked the Osirak nuclear research facility in Iraq.  But Iraq was fighting Iran at the time, and perhaps Israel felt that Iraq was preoccupied and therefore it would be easier to attack and retreat without incurring any repercussions.  Israel may still strike, only time will tell.
